Congratulations, this time to Catherine and Bill Dwyer of West Cape May. It's their 47th wedding anniversary. All good wishes from so many. Horse Show Opens Fri.
SMITHVILLE - Fourteen area municipalities have declared Sept. 23-30 Shore Memorial Hospital Horse Show Week in honor of the third annual event that begins Friday. Horses, polo games, ponyrides and an antique car show will highlight this year's event at Mattix Run JLtd. Equestrian Center in Smithville. Jerry Penacoli, a news anchor at KWY-TV Channel 3, is the honorary- chairman and will signautographs and talk with / visitors Saturday.
In addition, the JerseyCape Region Antique Auto Club will display antique, beauties from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. William Schmoll of Linwood. club president, reminds visitors to bring a camera and have their pictures taken with the vehicles of bygone days. \ Aside from the horse and riding competition, featuring the $10,000 Shore Memorial Grand Prix, this year's event will also include polo games and pony /rides on Saturday and Sunday.
Exhibits will be included all three days on the fair grounds whjere craft, gourmet and thrift items will be for sale as well as gift shop and tach shop _. items, various foods and drink. Admission is $2; children under 12 get in free. The event will be held rain or shine.

Job Safety Session Set AVALON — Joseph T. Gibbs. manager of safety and loss control for the Borough of Avalon, h&s arranged a program on electrical safety" to be presented at the regular council meeting tomorrow. - Stan Smuz and Ed Bannan, safety coordinators with Atlantic Electric, will present a program "Electrical Safety in the Work Place" at 10:05 a.m. in the Borough Hall meeting room on Dune Drive.
