Avenues, celebrates the 16th Sunday after Pentecost this Sunday. The Sunday School program for all ages begins at 9 a.m. The worship service begins at 10:15 a.m., with Holy Communion celebrated " weekly. This Sunday a guest preacher, the Rev. Donald Moser of the Luther Social Services of New Jersey will preach. A fellowship hour follows the service. An Adult Bible Study meets every Friday at 10 a.m. A Lutheran Faith Class meets 7 p.m. Tuesday for those interested in joining the Lutheran Church, or refreshing memory in the Lutheran faith. A new Bible Study format begins Tuesday, Oct. 2, 12:30 at a Bible Study entitled "Grace-full Living."
