CAPE MAY - Results of the survival suit races held at the Coast Guard Training Center Sept. 8. as part of the second annual Seafood Festival in Cape May. are as follows: Best overall team; National Associates with a _ time of 2 minutes. 26 seconds. Team members included Jay Kopp, Norm La bounty. Bob Mullock, • and Terry Becker. Best commercial team: fishing vessel Amy Lynn (time unavailable). Runners up in the Coast Guard team competition were: Training Center Boat Docks Team A with a time of 2 minutes, 31.5 seconds. Team members included FA D.F. Thrift, MK2 M.L1 Heeler, SA A.G. Cape Rooters Get Split on the Road i

VILLAS - Wally Porter's Cape Express Rovers (under 14) traveled to Pennsauken Sunday to "challenged the Pyaa Fever and returned Home with their second victory of the season. A Kevin Johnson hat trick, along with single scores by Matt Ferry, Gary Fitx, John Leahy and Ron Gamble led to the 7-1 final. Due to the absence of three team members, Porter's squad was reduced to the minimum of 11 players, who managed to control the play through exceptional offensive and defensive moves.
