Christian Academy Adds 2 Teachers

ERMA — New teachers in fine arts and two new computers* mark faculty and curriculum additions at South Jersey Christian Academy as it embarks on the 1984-85 school year. According to Principal Charles woods, Ruth Bed dow of Court House will be teaching music and Kate Oresic of Wildwood will be teaching art. Mrs. Beddow is a graduate of Glassboro State College, and has taught music at the elementary level for 38 years She will be teaching students in the kindergarten through seventh grades at South Jersey Christian. Miss Oresic attended Rosary Hill College of Fine Arts in Buffalo. N.Y. She also will teach kindergarten through seventh WOODS SAID that all children in the school

receive instruction in art and music every week. In a related matter. Woods noted that the Academy's Home and School Association recently purchased two TRS 80 Model III computers for classroom use. The computers will enable the school to embark on a new curriculum program which will be under the direction of. fourth/ fifth grade teacher Mrs. Linda Esher, Woods said. The computers will be used initially on a rotating basis in the classrooms as a learning aid. Upper grade students will also be given a mini-course in basic language and usage. South Jersey Christian Academy is in its sixth year as an interdenominational Christian school, and teaches grades K-7. It is located in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church on Seashore Road.

Township Has Adult Classes
