Weekend Includes Photo Show
OCEAN CITY - An art and photography show has been scheduled for this resort's Indian Summer Weekend *block party, Saturday, Oct. 13. Local artists and photographers are invited to register for the event by contacting the Public Relations office, City Hall, Ocean City, N.J. 08226. Over IS, 000 people are expected to attend the event, which begins at 10
a.m. and extends from 11th Street to 6th Street on As bury Avenue. IN ADDITION to the art and photo show there will be a crafts festival, sidewalk sale, ethnic foods, auto show, antique auto show, - pony rides for children, Indian Hancers, two bands, face painters, juggler and many special features. A seafood festival and table sale will be held on
the Boardwalk the same day with a trolley connec- 1 ting the two areas. Also featured will be a threemile master's run for men and women over 40 starting 10 a.m. on the Boardwalk. Runners may register by contacting the Public Relations Office FOOD IS always popular at these events and the block party will feature a Greek Festival, Italian foods, tons of hotdogs, fun nel cakes, hot pretzels, candy, cakes, ice cream and health foods. The Ocean Ci- J ty Rotary Club will hold its annual garage sale near City Hall, 9th and As bury Avenue. ■ Special characters who will appear include Resorts International's RICH the Robot and Martin Z. Mollusk, Ocean City's relatively famous Hermit Crab.

Ris Sets Up Nepc Gallery AVALON - The William Ris Galleries have opened a second Cape May County location, in the Golden Inn Hotel and Conference Center, Oceanfront at 78th Street, which will be open all year round. The new outlet will handle oils, watercolors, acrylics, graphics and handcrafted gifts. Ris Galleries' other location, 98th and Second Avenue, Stone Harbor, is open April through October. I *
