If you're interested in restoring your Victorian House (1820-1920) there's a series of lectures and how-to-do-it all being conducted by the Mid-Atlanticf Center for the Arts here in Cape May. It is necessary, though, that you register ahead for the particular seminars, so do contact the MAC office at 884-5404 and all will be explained about time, subjects being discussed, and fees. One very interesting portion includes "How the State Hjstoric Preservation * Office Can Help in Your Restoration Project", "Colors for the Historic House 1820-1920", and even a Victorian Afternoon Tea. This is all part of the Victorian Week activities. o£" COURSE, as usual, there'll. be walking tours, trolley tours and Physick House tours for the delight of anyone who hasn't taken any of them, ahd even for those who may want to take their family and friends for a real treat! If you can manage it, try to get to the Victorian Fashion Shows Saturday at the Physick Estate. They'll be held on the outside stage, starting 5 p.m. In the meantime, there'll be a cocktail party on the grounds featuring a full cashbar, at 4 p.m. ONE OF THE very nicest and interesting places about town where you can wander in and be mesmerized by all the 'dreamy kitchens" is "Cabinet Corner" in West Cape May. It has the most unusual ideas for every room of the house— not something you would expect to be right here in your neighborhood. Owner, Jim Walker and his son, Jim Jr. even do the delivery themselves, making sure everything is just right. I came upon it one afternoon and spent an hour just fascinated by the displays, which were so eye catching and really out of the or-

dinary. I wanted to buy them all! It's "last call" to take la chance of winning the beautiful 1984 Buick Skylark car on display in front of the Star of the Sea Church in Cape May. The lucky winner will be made known Saturday at the Car Raffle Gala, Parish Hall on Ocean Street. %

ALMOST AS good as new is Marie Roehrenbeck of Page Street in Cape May. Shejjfc the "mom" of Silver, Fluffy and Patches. The first two are Persian cats and the other is something different. She's really a patchwork pattern of

beautiful colors. Marie's been on lthe sick list for too long but is now almost back into her regular routine of art work: Many are waiting to start the "free" art lessons Marie so graciously conducted. Hope it'll be soon!

Hearing Set COURT HOUSE - A public bearing will be held - by the County Board of Chosen Freeholders on possible uses of Senior Citizen and Disabled Resident Transportation Assistance Act funds in the year 1984, in the amount of $74,230.
