TURNING 70 — Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Stone Harbor, celebrates 70th _ anniversary this month. Pastor since June. 19 8 3 is Rev. Glenn Schoenberger, formerly of Bethlehem. Pa. He and wife. Kalhy. are expecting their first child in October.
UMC Service NORTH WILDWOOD - Worship service is held 11 a.m. Sunday at the North Wild wood United Methodist Church, preceded by a hymn sing at 10:45 a.m. V m Pastor Steve Herman will deliver the morning message. Organist is Jayne , Holley.
Rally Weekend at Crest Community
WILDWOOD CREST - This weekend is Rally Weekend at the Crest Com* m unity Church. Saturday is the Church ^ Picnic at County Park, Court House. Games, under the direction of the Youth Group, begin at 11 a.m.
Lunch -will be served at noon with more games afterward. Hamburgers, hot dogs, beverages and dessert will be provided by the Sunday School. Others are to bring a covered sih. Sunday, promotions will be held during the SundaySchool Services at 9:45 a.m. followed by regular classes. Rally Day church services begin at 11 a.m. led by the Rev. Charles L. Rowe, pastor. The Cherub and Junior Choirs and Sunday School students will present the theme song. "Come Follow Jesus." Additional music will be sung by the Adult Choir under the direction, of Bette Van Dyke, organist.

Chapel Pulpit Guest Slated RIO GRANDE - The Rev. Michael Pepper will be guest speaker at Grace Gospel Chapel, 29 S. Shore Rd., Sunday at the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. services. Rev. Pepper was a missionary to Korea and is presently pastor of the First Baptist Church in Aspon, Pa. He also serves as professor of missions at the Baptist Bible College East in Boston, Mass. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages. Children's Church is 11 a.m. for boys and girls 5 to 9. prayer meeting is 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Fall Slate STONE HARBOR - The fall schedule is in effect at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, with the Holy Eucharist being celebrated 8 and-io a.m. Sundays. A colfee and fellowship hour /fSllows each service. Church care for kindergarten through junior high meets 9:45 a.m. Sunday. Nursery care for toddlers is provided during the 10 o'clock Eucharist. The Octobered cover dish dinner is planned for | 6:p.m. thursday, Oct. 18. ^
Topic ' God's Mercy' at Holy Trinity WILDWOOD - "The Embodiment of God's Mercy" is the scriptural theme for worship at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Atlanic and Poplar Avenues. Sunday, the lSth^after Pentecost. The Sunday Church School . program for all ages begins at 9: a.m. The Adult Class continues its Bible Study of 1 Corinthians. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated weekly at the 10:15 a.m. service. This is followed by a fellowship hour in the parish hall. A service of the Worduf Healing will be offered 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Oct. lfc in commemoration of St. Luke-evangelist and physician. The regularlyscheduled Service of the Word of Healing will be offered 9 a.m. Friday. Oct. 15. An adult exercise and Bible study group meets 12 : 30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16. A Lutheran Faith Class, for new members, members looking for a renewal of understanding and anyone else who wishes to know more about the Lutheran tradition , meets 7 p.m. Tuesdays. A pre-baptismal class for any parents desiring their child baptized prior to Easter will be held 7 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 17,24, and 31. The Adult Bible Studycontinues its study of "The Story of St. Mark" 10 a.m. Fridays.
