Naturalist To Tell Of Stay

Mrs. Fisk, now a resident of Cape Cod, Mass., was an early 'board member of the Wetlands Institute and last year was made an honorary, trustee. As a widow, she began hernaturalist career when she took up bird banding as a , backyard hobby. She later served as collaborator or consultant with the Everglades National Park and Cape Cod National Seashore COLONIAL AND nesting birds have been her survey project for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service along the Atlantic coast. She has worked with expeditions to Central and South America translating a book about Peruvian birds. She also .•ompleted research for a guide tq the birds to Trinidad and Tobago. At present, Mrs. Fisk serves on the boards of seven conservation organizations and the Florida and Massachusetts Aububon societies. H Njaii and the members festivities will take place in the Marshview Lecture Hall at the Wetlands Institute.

Winterthur Trip Slated COURT HOUSE - The Bayberry Twig Auxiliary of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and the Wetlands will be sponsoring a bus trip to Winterthur Tuesday, Dec. 4, leaving the Jamesway parking lot at 7:45 a.m. There will be a two hour conducted tour at Winterthur with lunch following at Mendenhall Inn. After lunch there will be a stop at Brandywine Museum to see its natural ornamentdecorated Christmas trees and the new wing of the museum. The bus will return to Jamesway around 6:30 p.m. The cost of the trip includes lunch. Call 967-4736 or 368-1211 by Nov. 1 for reservations.
