CAPEMAYCulminating a project taken two years of effort, the new Volunteer Fire Department Museum, at Washington and Franklin Streets, -will be dedicated l p.m. Sunday, followed by a parade through the older section of the city. The museum, dedicated to all the firemen who have served the city, will bouse the department's 1928 American LaFrance pumper and other firefighting memorabilia. CONSTRUCTION was accomplished by members of the department and by local contractors and merchants who donated time and/or materials. The firemen are seeking items such as photographs V

of past members, the other city firehouse, equipment, fires and storms, or uniforms, badges, log books or discarded equipment for display. The gold is to obtain as many items as possible dating from the establishment of the department in 1875 (and earlier, if possible ). PROCEEDS from the dedication cermomes and donations at the museum will be used to pay for refurbishing the old pumper. Guests are invited to sign a commemorative register initiated Jan. 26, 1962, when a town meeting was held at ; the firehouse before the start of construction of Uk museum. N 1
