Holy Spirit Ready To Install Pastor
VILLAS - The Rev. Russell G. Jenkins will begin his pastorate at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church here Oct. 28. Pastor Jenkins received the G.A. degree from Muhlenberg College, Allentown. Pa. and his B.D. degree at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Mt. Airy, Philadelphia.
He served as assistant pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mayfair, Philadelphia from 1961 to 1967, and as pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Newark, N.J., from 1967 until September 1984. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a coffee hour. All members and friends of the congregation are urged to attend.

St. Mary's Annual Sale STONE HARBOR - The Episcopal Church Women of St. Mary's will sponsor their annual fall rummage sale in the Parish, Hall on 95th Street Friday evening from 6 until 8 and os Saturday morning from 10 until noon. Included in the sale will be white elephant items, recycled clothes, jewelry items, a linen boutique, and books and magazines. Contributions may be left in the parish hall tomorrow and Friday. Fall Slate STONE HARBOR - The fall schedule is in effect at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, with the Holy Eucharist being celebrated 8 and 10 a.m. Sundays, and a social hour following each service. Church school is at 9:45 Sunday mornings. A midweek celebration of the Hily Eucharist is held 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the church. Contributions to the Pantry Shelf Program sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women may be left in the parish hall to provide food baskets for the needy.
