Jazz Event A Benefit For MADD CAPE MAY -The CapeAUantic Chapter of MADD. Mothers Against Drunk Driving, will present as a fund raising event an evening of jazz, entiUed "A Night of the Cotton Club" Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Cape May Convention Hall. The evening will feature continuous performances by local entertainers such as pianist Melba Pope, Jack Bingham, Bill Moser, Chris Col umbo. Johnny Andrews, Virginia Dee and Tommy Doonegan. Along with the live jazz there will be a free hot buffet, dancing, door prizes and drawings." THE "COTTON, CLUB" a well known New York gathering place for musicians in the 30s and 40s, will be recreated on stage through the talents of local artist Mary Federici, who has done extensive research on the Cotton Club and designed the backdrop for the musicians.
