COURT HOUSE - Fall and winter programs, including such new and innovative courses as belly dancing, the township's first annual Christmas parade, and a junior "rodeo" have been announced by the Middle ^Township Recreation Department. The course Is belly dancing. for high school age up, will be offered at the Leroy May Center, Romney Place and Reading Avenue, with Sultana Saadet as instructor. Classes were to begin Monday. Registration is required, and there is a $15 fee. THE CHRISTMAS parade will take place 7 p.m. Nov. 30 and will include bands and floats. It will proceed through Court House, culminating with the lighting of the township Christmas tree. The junior "rodeo", for grades 1-5, is scheduled for noon Feb. 23, 1985, with registration at 11 :30 a.m. It will include variants of calf roping, steer wrestling, fancy roping, and shooting, and will take place in the , High School gym. * Also new are a Christmas call, in which parents can arrange to have their ^children called by Santa Claus direct from the North Pole. It is for women 17 and over, and to start a competitive league, at least five teams are needed. Interested captains are asked to call the Recreation Office. The fee is $40 a team. OTHER PROGRAMS are: Wrestling, an instructional program for beginners, to be held at the Middle School cafeteria 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and Friday. Registration is required, there is no fee, and classes begin Nov. 12. Tumbling and gymnastics, ages 6-12, with instructor Kim Lakita, was j to begin Oct. 25 at the Middle School gym. Price is $8 per person A Quebec ski trip is planted for Feb. 14-18 Skiing will be a Mont Ste. Anne, and the Quebec Winter Carnival is running the same weekend. Prices include transportation, meals, lift tickets, and rooms. Early reservations are urged. OTHER TRIPS include Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom on Ice Dec. 28, at $12.50 per person. Reservations until Dec. 13. A trip to Icecapades is slated Feb. 28 at $12.50, and to the Philadelphia Flower Show March 5 at $12. Only 47 tickets are available. A puppet show, the "Remarkable Mr Puss, in Boots", will be presented 1 p.m. Dec. 1 by the Puppetworks of New York at Elementary School's here. Tickets will be available at the door. Gregory D.
