Junior Miss Competition Friday

ERMA Ten seniors . from two high schools in Cape May County will com pete for the title of 1985 Cape May County Junior Miss at 8 p m Friday at Lower Cape May Regional High School Th£WL_of the event is ll/y Woi1< Here We Come marking the 10th annual scholarship pro gram There will be 81,400 in scholarships and cash to the winner, runners-up and special award winners Thirty-five percent of the score will be based on judges' interviews prior to the program and 15 percent for scholastic achievement The remaining 50 percent will be based on youth physical fitness routihe, poise and appearance. and creative and performing arts. » The reigning 1964 Junior Miss. Koitsch Jr., 233 Breakwater Rd., celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, Nov 3 at Saint Raymond's Auditorium in the Villas. The event was hosted by their childre-n.-a-nd grandchildren The couple was married Nov. 3, 1944, at Saint Benedict s Roman Catholic Church in Greensboro. .N.C. They are the parents of a son. John C. Koitsch III, husband of Lucille Koitsch of Wilmington, De and three daughters. Carol Schilling of Fishing Creek. Patricia Saienni. wife of Anthony Saienni. of * Wilmington, De., and Theresa Lambert, wife of Robert Lambert of North Cape May. There are six grandchildren Mr. and Mrs. Koitsch are the owners and operator? of Breakwater Electric Co. Inc They are members of Saint Raymond s Parish in the Villas.. Koitsch is a member of the Knights of Columbus Both Mr. and Mrs. Koitsch are Lower Township committee persons.

Krown, Rodriquez and Spaulding will sing. Coles will perform a piano solo, Howell will dance. Macatee will present an instrumental presentation in the creative and performing arts category. Junior Miss is a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting the positive accomplishments of American youth to the pubic by recognizing, rewarding, and encouraging excellence in our young people The National Program was started in Mobile, Alabame in 1958. Cake May County has had a representative since 1975.
