Hall, sew Bayshore Road, Villas Two applicants have filed requests to build singlefamily homes on undersize lots — one at 312-314 Railroad Ave. and 309 Angus Ave., Erma, the other at 2902 Shore Dr., Cape May Beach Barbara Smith of Villas is asking for a hardship variance to build a singlefamily borne and three-car g&rage at 619-622 Breakwater Rd, Erma lots in an R-3 zone that are shy . of the required 150-foot frontage Bowman Builders Inc. is asking for a variance to build a single-family home at 1632 Bayshore Rd., Villas, on a 75-foot by 100-foot lot in GB-11 zone where single-family homes are not a permitted use. Approval of two other applications would allow proposed additions for existing

buildings to encroach into rear- or side- yard setbacks at 10 Carriage Lane, Erma, and at 103 Sheridan Dr., Fishing Creek. Another request would allow an Erma home owner to extend a garage to the rear wall of her home, 145 Briarwood Dr., Erma TOWNSHIP PLANNERS' meet in Township Hall 7:30 p.m. next Thursday to consider a hardship variance, requested by Gilbert R. Delaware Parkway, Villas, and their neighbors, the Richard and Joan Hayslett family of 245 E. Delaware Parkway. Weather permitting, Thomas Moran flies a flag every day of the year but lost his banner when a spring storm shredded the "Stars and Stripes" before he could get home and haul down the colors. Morgan celebrates his birthdays on July 4. The Hayslett family is new to the neighborhood and Richard Hayslett, a commercial fisherman, was away at sea during the flag presentation. But his wife and children Tommy, Joy and Richard accepted in his absence. Helping Hummel, the auxiliary's Americanism chairman, was Kitty Young, who presented women with poppy corsages and men with poppy buttoneers. Lorraine McGreevy and Loretta Ogbern passed out

GOP Clfkbs Will Meet CAPE MAY - The City Men's Republican Club will meet 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the American Legion Hall, 405 Congress St. This will be a joint meeting with the City Women's Republican Club, and both clubs will host the guest speaker, City Manager Fred Coldren Coldren will speak on the state of the city, and what the year 1985 will bring regarding taxes and other related city conditions. Coolidge Wins College Honor MEADVILLE, PA. - Todd M. Coolidge, an Allegheny College junior, has been named Alden Scholar for the 1983-84 academic year. Alden Scholar awards are given to students who have maintained a quality point average of 22 or greater during the academic ye$r. Coolidge was honored at a dinner on October 23. Todd is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Young of 38 Main St., Dennisville, and a 1982 graduate of Middle Township High School.
