Villas Troop Gets First Eagle Scout
Timothy M. Dougherty, 15, is the first Eagle Scout of Troop 63, Villas. He is a freshman at Middle Township High School and the son of James and Patricia Dougherty, 9 Peach Tree Drive, Rio Grande. Tim's Eagle project was for his church. He built a non-sectarian altar designed for portable use at all Baysea camporees. It was in use last week at the fall Olympic camporee at Woodbine. He is the senior patrol leader of Troop 63. Tim met all requirements and sur- #
passed the needed 21 merit badges. He plans to continue in scouting, and intends to pursue a career in medicine. Tim is a member of St. Raymond's Church, Villas, a dinner was given for him recently, where his brother, Jim, is also an Eagle Scout. Tim received many acknowledgements from community leaders, the President, and a special momento from Pope John Paul n. On a national average, only 2.5 percent of boy scouts become Eagles.

Middle Parade Winners
COURT HOUSE - The Second Annual Halloween Parade sponsored by the Middle Township Recreation Dept. was, according to Gregg Arnold, recreation director, a big success. "We estimated that there were between 300 and 400 costumed marchers," Arnold said. "And, when added to the bands, floats and mechanized units that participated, we feel that the people who viewed the
parade were presented with a complete and funfilled evening." Dance Unit Auditions COURT HOUSE The Showstoppers is a traveling dance company composed of students from Dancers Two. Sunday, Oct. 28, the Showstoppers auditioned at Garden Pier in Atlantic City few Lucille Russo, who is in charge of the Boardwalk Star Revue.
The Showstoppers performed "Stray Cats" and ' 'Flashdance' ' . "Flashdance" was chosen for the 1985 March of Dimes Telethon and the company was asked to perform several more numbers. Hie Showstoppers are available to appear throughout the area. See Coupon For 50$ f OFF On Classified Page
