St. Mary's Dinner Set

STONE HARBOR - The monthly covered dish dinner of St. Mary's Episcopal Church will be held at 6 tommorrow evening. Following the dinner an

evening of entertainment by members of the congregation is planned. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated 8 and 10 a.m. Sundays, with a coffee and

fellowship hour following each service. Church school for students in kindergarten through junior high is at 9:45 a.m. Nursery care is available during the 10 o'clock Eucharist. A mid-week celebration of the Holy Eucharist is held in the church at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

Old Brick Will Host Service

COLD SPRING - The Old Brick Presbyterian Church here will be the host for the annual combined Thanksgiving Eve service with Tabernacle United Methodist. The service will begin at 7:30 p.m., and Rev. Paul vander Loo will be the speaker. His text will be Luke 17:11-19, entitled "Lets Give Thanks Anyway": Sunday morning services at Tabernacle Methodist,

Erma, begin at 9:45 a.m. each week, with Bible study classes held for all ages. Love Loaves will be distributed during the service to help raise money for^l world hunger. They will be collected in February. A nursery is provided for both the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. services. Cape Film's 1st Showing

CAPE MAY - The film Joe and Maxi will be shown at the Baptist Church Hall. Guerney Street at Columbia Ave., 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. This award-winning documentary by local filmmaker Maxi Cohen explores her ambivalent relationship with her father — just as they learn he is dying of cancer. Set in and around Cape May Harbor (where Cohen operated a fishing company), this film has been hailed by critics as "touching, engrossing,

brave and courageous," and "a beautiful, loving film". This is its first Cape May screening.

Ecumenical Service Set WILDWOOD - The Greater Wildwood Pastoral Association will sponsor an ecumenical Thanksgiving • service, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Host church for the service will be St. Ann's by the Sea, Magnolia & Atlantic Avenues. Group W cable television will record the service for re-broad cast at a later date. Times of viewing for shut in's and others not be able to attend will be announced on Channel 2. 2 Services Broadcast NORTH CAPE MAY - The associate pastor of the Covenant Bible Church, Fishing 'Greek Road, will lead bothe the 10:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. worship services. The morning service is broadcast over WCMC, 1230 AM, and the evening . worship is carried over WSJL-FM, 102 FM. The men/meet in the library with Ray and Grace Steffens every Sunday at 6 p.m. Adults as well as children are invited to the Sunday School, which meets 9:45 a.m. For free transportation, call Bob at 886-1354. Thanksgiving At Covenant NORTH CAPE MAY - Thanksgiving Day service at the Convehant Bible Church, Fishing Creek Road near Bayshore Road, begins at 9 a.m. Everyone • is invited to an oldfashioned service of reading Scriptures, singing hymns, offering of prayers and giving of testimonies. An historical account of the first Thanksgiving will be read, along with proclamation given by the Mayor of Lower Township and the President.
