Candlelight Tour Slated for Dec . 29
CAPE MAY - The popular Candlelight House Tour sponsored annually by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC) will be held 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. Over a dozen specially-decorated homes and churches will be featured during this high faint of the holiday season, which will be an individually-paced, selfguided tour in and around the National Historic Landmark seashore resort. In order to help tourgoers get from one house to another, MAC's Victorian Trolley-bus will run on a continuous transit loop,
free of charge to ticketholders. A SPECIAL feature of the tour this year will be a display of gingerbread houses at the Cape May County Art League. These charming edible edifices sport decorations as elaborate as Cape May's own architectural gingerbread. Ticket-holders have the honor of selecting the winners in Cape May's annual gingerbread house contests. Because of the popularity of the Candlelight House Tour, the number of tickets will be limited this year, and they will be available in advance at a reduced price. Tickets may be purchased in advance in person at the MAC office at the Physick Estate in Cape May or by mail. To order tickets by mail, write The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts, P.O. Box 164, Cape May, NJ 08204, enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope and a check or money order made payable to MAC for the number of tickets desired at $8 for adults and $3 for children 15 and under. For more information on the tour and the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts, contact MAC at 884-5404.
