Green Ck. Hosts Joint Observance

GREEN CREEK - The Green Creek Community Church on Delsea Drive will be host to a joint Thanksgiving service with two other area churches

7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Nov. 21. Joining the service are the congregations of Bethel United Methodist Church of Green Creek and Dias • Creek United Methodist Church, The Speaker will be Rev. Donald McNeill. THE SERVICE will include special music and opportunity for personal thanksgiving. Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will preach on the general theme "Great Conversions of the Centuries" at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. His particular subject will be "The Transformed Crook", the conversion of George Muller, founder of the Bristol Orphanage in England. Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. A nursery is available for all services. Youth time is 6: 30 p.m. every Sunday, and prayer meeting is on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. For further information, call 886-6144.

Salvation Is Theme NORTH CAPE MAY — "Assurance of Salvation" is the theme of the 10:50 a.m. worship service of the Covenant Bible Church, Fishing Creek Road near Bayshore Road, according to the associate pastor, the Rev. George B. Fincke. The service will be broadcast over WCMC, 1230 AM. At the 7 p.m. worship service, Pastor Fincke will speak on "The Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge." The service will be broadcast over WSJL-FM. 1st Baptist WILDWOOD - Rev. Dawn N. Mays will preach at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at the First Baptist Church here. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and there are classes for all ages. A nursery and a Junior Church are also provided. Candle Rites In Cape May CAPS MAY - First Presbyterian Church will hold a Thanksgiving Eve candlelight service tonight at 7:30 and will participate in a community service Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. at Franklin Street Methodist Church. Hie Rev. Cass Shaw, pastor, will preach on "The Power of Gratitude" at Sunday morning's 10:30 service at the church, NDecatur and Hughes streets. A talk back session at which parishioners may discuss the sermon with the pastor will be held at 11:40 a.m. Hie youth fellowship organization will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
