Chinnici Opposes AE Rate Increase

BRIDGETON - Assemblyman Joseph W. Chinnici (Second District, Cape May-Cumberland) will appear at a rate bearing in Millville, Nov. 26, to express his "total opposition" to the $49.5 million rate increase requested by Atlantic Electric Co. Atlantic Electric has been granted over $225 million in rate increases since July, 1974. "It seems hard to believe that an additional $49.5 income is now required in addition to cover what would appear to be rather minor fluctuations in operating ex-

penses , " said Assemblyman Chinnici. He also will express specific objections to the proposed increase in the Energy Adjustment credit the utility is requesting.
