News Notes from The Cape Mays | Dolly Stango ,
If you're thinking about entering the West Cape May Community Christmas Parade, remember all entries must be received before Nov 24 to be eligible for awards. Also, there's to be no Santa on any float — no children dressed like jSanta, and/or
Uncle Santa or the like. It seems that small children have no way of distinguishing a child Santa or a stuffed Santa from the real thing. Also, no alcoholic beverages of any king is permitted in, on, or around any entry or participant. All candy is to be handed out, not thrown, as children hasp been hit by hard candy. Also, if candy is thrown, children run into the streets and could be hit to oncoming vehicles. Line up starts at 6 p.m. and parade starts 7 p.m. For more information, call 884-2727 or 884-474^ Cape May bounty Christmas Bazaar is Nov. 23 and 24 in the Carriage House on the Physick Estate grounds, with lots of unsual items. • • • SECOND ANNUAL City of Cape May Christmas Ball is Saturday, December 8 in Convention Hall 8:30 p.m. to 12.
