AVALON — A series of holiday season events, including two sponsored by the local chapter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, has been announced by the borough recreation department. Sponsored by the Deborah Foundation are: Appearapce by the Angelus Chorus 8 p.m. Saturday. A . social hour will follow. Tickets can be obtained from Jean Glazier, 967-4250. ANNUAL Christmas party at Canal 42, Sea Isle City, Wednesday, Dec. 12. New officers of the Deborah chapter will be installed. Reservations can

be made by calling 967-4250 or 263-8031, and must be in by Saturday, Dec. 1. The borough Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony will take place 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the 21st Street circle. The ceremony will be followed by a hay ride for children and hot chocolate and cookies at Community Hall. Residents are inivted to attend and bring a homemade decoration for the tree. The Holly Ball will be held 8:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Community Hall, with the Russ Patrick Orchestra. Reservations for Avalon residents only will

Book Fair On Dec. 3-6 CAPE MAY - The annual Holiday Book Fair will take place 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Dec. 3-6 in the City Elementary School. Paperbacks, hard backs, book covers and posters will be on said in colorcoded book cases keyed to J different age levels. Dec. 5: Baked macaroni/cheese, Harvard beets, green beans, Danish pastry. * Dec. 6: Meat loaf w/brown gravy, baked potato, glazed carrots, tapioca puddin. Dec. 7: New England clam chowder, baked fish filet, chopped spinach, Tartar sauce, lemon crumb pie. All meals are accompanied by bread, margarine, coffee, tea, or milk. Snacks, delivered, with mobile meals to the homebound, are: Dec. 3: Beef pot pie, orange, milk. Dec. 4: Tuna salad sandwich, banana, milk. Dec. 5: Roast beef sandwich, apple sauce, milk. Dec. 6: Ham sandwich, cole slaw, pear, milk. Dec. 7: Chicken salad sandwich, apple, milk.
