BOARDWALK BURNS — Fire raged out of control for two bours on Wild wood's boardwalk Saturday afternoon, causing damage which may run as high as $2 million to the Fun Pier at Youngs Avenue. Under investigation, the blaze

spread to eight amusement rides, causing part of the pier to collapse as 70 firemen labored to bring it under control. Most of the pier was saved.

NEW BRUNSWICK - New Jersey's new "Worker and Community Right to Know Act" will be discussed Friday, Dec. 7, during a conference at Cook College-Rutgers University. The conference will focus on the Status of the act which became effective in August. The conference is designed to provide an opportunity to become acquainted

To Consider Town Watch WOODBINE - Residents of the borough have been invited to attend a meeting at Borough Hall 7:30-9 tonight to discuss a Town Watch program. The aim is to enlist the help of men and women over 21 who are interested in saving the town from lawless elements. A police official will address the meeting, which will be restricted to borough residents. Dinner Set WOODBINE - The St. Vincent de Paul Society will host a Christmas dinner for singles and shut-ins 5 p.m. Friday, Dec*21, at the St. Casimar Church Hall. 302 Clay St. All are invited to attend regardless of race or creed. Heat Help For Needy WOODBINE - Borough residents of limited income are eligible for help with their heating costs from the Emergency Assistance Program. Application may be made 7-9 p.m. every second and fourth Monday at the Borough Hall. Income limites are $519 monthly for one and $700 for two. Yule Party CAPE MAY — The Catholic Golden Age Club will celebrate Christmas with a covered dish luncheon and gift exchange at its regular meeting 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the Rectory "Dugout" of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Washington and Ocean Streets.
