Heating Aid Available <
RIO GRANDE - The state Home Energy Assistance Program, which is receiving applications from eligible county residents at the Social Services Building here will also be available aboard the Department of Aging's courtesy van Monday, at the Millman Center, Villas, 9-11 a.m., and on Dec. 17 at Cape Human Resources, Wildwood Division, 115 W. Davis Ave., 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Those who may need help
with heating bills and wish to avail themselves of the services aboard the courtesy van or • at the Social Services Building, should bring the following information: 1. Personal identification (driver license, credit card, birth certificate). 2. Social Security Number (their Social Security Card and those of other adult household members). 3. Proof of Residence (current utility bill in their
name; rent receipt showing name, address and phone number of landlord; mortgage contract/proof of payment etc.). 4. Proof of U.I.B., Social Security Benefits; Workers Comp. etc. — (letter of entitlement for benefits, uncashed check or photostatic copy, etc.). 5. Proof of Earnings — check stub (most recent). 6. Living arrangement — fuel bill or contract from supplier in their name; lease, if heat/utilities are included in rent; affidavit from landlord you are responsible for heating costs but bill is not in your name. The Home Energy Assistance Program has established gross income eligibility limits for acceptance of applications. For a household with one person, the monthly income cannot exceed $519; for a household oftwo persons, the monthly income cannot ^ exceed $700. Persons who live in larger households may obtain the additional I scaled income limits for their particular circumstances, by phoning I 729-9200, between 9:30 a.m. I and 3:30 p.m . All applications for heating assistance are subject to approval by the Trenton program office. Questions concerning the courtesy van visits to the Millman Center and Cape Human Resources Nutrition sites, should be phoned to the Department of Aging at 886-2784. Exercises Set For New Moms ' COURT HOUSE - Prenatal and postpartum exercise classes are being offered on a continuing basis by *the Physical Therapy Department of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. With physician approval, women may join the exercise groups at any time. Cost for eight weeks of instruction is $24. For more information, call 465-2000, ext. 5430.
