Arts Center Has Exhibition
OCEAN CITY - The Ocean City Arts Center s I December display entitled i " '"An Exhibition of Crafts" i invited the public to view before Christmas, the work 1 of 10 artisans.
Craftsmen included in the exhibition are: wooden toy maker Harry Herbein of Northfield; Carl Rodzewich and Kevin O'Neill both of Philadelphia, reconstructing 18th century design furniture as well as their own designs; Lillian Biemiller of Pleasantville, who will display and sell her handpainted folk art ornaments. Also, artist and instructor. Amy Kline of Bridgeton exhibits her work in wheel thrown pottery . jeweler Nancy IrohsLillmars will exhibit and sell handmade sterling jewelry; Frank Hulick of Oceanport displays his wildlife prints; Susan Karaso of Court House has on exhibit her quilts of original design, and Susan Wyman of Somers Point will display and sell her handcrafted country shades. THERE WILL BE the opportunity to purchase a variety of other handcrafted gift items such as cutting boards, wooden boxes, shaker design racks, x-mas ornaments as well as most of the work on display! The Arts Center, in conjunction with The Ocean City Historical Museum's Sindia Day. will also hold an open-house reception upstairs beginning at noon at Saturday. Hors doeuvres and refreshments will be serv- . ed and entertainment provided. Included in the Christmas Program will be
Santa Claus and his troop, a jazz dance performance by the students of the Ocean City Arts Center dance class, Elaine Berar-* di performing an excerpt from The Nutcracker Suite, a variety of demonstrations in fencing and pottery and a special treat will be "Twas the Night Before Christmas" re-enactment reading. Garden Club Yule Tour AVALON — The borough Gafden Club will hold its annual Mini Christmas House Tour starting 10 a.m. Monday. Dec. 17. The * tour is open to ctuh members and their guests. The tour will conclude at Community Hall, where the Christmas tree will be on display, and a light lunch will be served. Members will meet at the Community Hall Friday to decorate the club's Christmas tree.
