Just in case you want to set your calendar straight, A there's so much to do here in 1 Cape May. For instance: / Anyone interested in viewing specially-decorated

homes and churches can take the popular Christmas Candlelight House Tour sponsored by the Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts Dec. 29 from 6 p.m. to 10. There are over a dozen to 1IIC1C at C urci e uvncn ,v

see, and to help make Jt more convenient, the M*; Victorian Trolley-bus will run on a continuous transit loop, free of charge to ticket holders. Remember, because of the popularity of this candlelight tour, tickets are limited and sold in advance ' at reduced prices. The price l is higher on the day of the I tour. Either write the center at P.O. Box 164, Cape May, N.J. 08204 or call 884-5404. When writing remember to enclose a stamped, selfaddressed envelope and f check or money order ($6

I for adults, $3 for children) made payable to MAC for s the number of tickets ^ desired. ANOTHER "holiday feature" is the display of gingerbread houses at the Cape May County Art League in the Carriage House on the Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. Ticket holders for the Candlelight Tour have the privilege of selecting the winners in Cape May's Annual Gingerbread House Contests. Then there's the "Candlelight Walk" on the Washington Mall, Thursday, Dec. 20. All evening long, shops with candles or lanterns in their windows are serving wine and cheese, coffee, cakes, cider and doughnuts, because the Mall merchants want to say, "Thank you for shopping on our Mall". There'll be carollers strolling to make it all authentic and Christmaslike! NEW YEAR'S Weekend is going to be lovely too. The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts will offer Combination Trolley/Physick Estate Tours on both Saturday and Sunday. They begin at the Physick Estate where patrons will be driven in the heated trolley-bus, taken on the tour and then guided through the interior of the Physick mansion, ending in the kitchen, where hot cider and cookies await. Also, Saturday, Dec. 22, from 8 to 10 p.m. there's the Mansions by Gaslight Tours of four of Cape May's Victorian landmarks, viewing the interiors of authentically restored vintage homes such as The Emlen Physick House, The Abbey, The Mainstay Inn and The Wilbraham Mansion. LAST WEEK I told you about "beauty marks" being in again. Now it's also "nail charms", at least 24K gold plated, applied by using nail glaze and affixed near the tip of the finger. One model had a 25-point diamond adhered to her nail, only this had to be pressed in by an electrical drill. The price of beauty is costly! Still so many on the sick list Bert Whitman, Marguerite St. John, Msgr. Robert B. Ervin, Alfonso Martorell, Catherine Corbett, Jo Ann Weber, Patrice McNulty, Fr. Joseph Toal, Valeria Mariani, Ned Jones, John O'Gara, Fr. Gerald J. Makowetski, fharlie Geitz, Barbara Ragar. Alfanso Falzone, Maria Mayo, Margaret Stull, Frances McTague, Charles Gilbert. Robert Doyle. Charles Can-_ non, Mary Pine, Ann Ewing. Mary Ann Krug, Sr Joseph Mercedes, Eugene Walker, Malcom "Spats" McDuell, Caje Hoist, Frieda Lynch and Ray Schultz. (Page 19 Please)
