Holy Trinity Candlelight Service Set

Ends Advent WILDWOOD — Advent draws to a close and the celebration of the ChristChild event commences this week at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Atlantic and Poplar avenues. The Fourth Sunday in Advent, Dec. 23, will continue our spiritual preparation for Christmas. The worship will focus on the announcement to Blessed Mary of Our Lord's coming. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at the 10:15 a.m. service. The homilist and celebrant is the Rev. Gary A. Mann. A fellowship hour follows the service. The community is invited to the Children's Christmas Program Sunday, at 4 p.m. Entitled "Isn't This What Christmas Is All About?", the program looks at the true meaning of Christmas in light of our society's attempt to commercialize it. Children of all ages gather to bring joy and wisdom into our Christmas. Join us. A pot-luck supper will follow.

WILDWOOD CREST - The First United Methodist Church worship service 9:30 a.m. at 6700 Atlantic Ave. Children's Sunday Workshop begins with the worship hour and continues with study, recreation, crafts and refreshment during the Sunday School hour. Sunay School classes for all ages are at 10:45 a.m. Worship Dec. 23 will be a Christmas musical program by the Chancel Choir, assisted by some Junior Choir members and by instrumental accompani- v

ment. The meditation by the Pastor, Dr. William Wneker, is entitled, "God's Christmas Tree". There will be no evening worship Dec. 23. NORTH WILDWOOD - "The Most Wonderful Union" is the title of the 10:45 a.m. message of Dr. Alvin L. Baker Sunday at Central Bible Church. "Spiritual Discrimination" is the 7 p.m. message by the pastor. At 9:30 a.m. there is a Sunday School class for all age groups, and this is a nursery for all services. At 10:45 a.m. there is a Junior Church for children 5-12. Sunday night there will he a special slide presenta-

tion by Diane Foster and Marilyn Springer, depicting the nativity of our Lord. There will be special Christmas music in both sunday services. Christmas Eve at 7:30 p.m. there will be a special candlelight service.

COLD SPRING - On Christmas Sunday the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church (Old Brick), 780 Seashore Rd., will be decorated with a "Christr.ds tree" and an array >t poinsettias. WILDWOOD - There will be a choir cantata during the 11 a.m. Worship Service at the First Baptist ' Church, Atlantic and pacific Avenues, coming the Fourth Sunday in Advent. Events at 1st Presbyterian

CAPE MAY — A communion breakfast, a Christmas pageant and a Christmas Eve candlelight service will highlight Holiday programs at the First Presbyterian Church, Decatur and Hughes Streets. The breakfast will be held 8 a.m. tomorrow and the pageant will be prpented as part of the > coming sunday morning services at 10:30.

That night members of the church will carol through the streets of Cape May, starting at 6 p.m. The Christmas Eve Candlelight service will begin at 11 p.m. and will be broadcast live over radio station WSJL. The Rev. Cass Shaw is pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, which is the oldest church in the city.
