CAPE MAY - Delias I Stores knocked i Breakwater Electric out of j first place with, a three ( game shutout in men's recreation volleyball ac- ] tion. The scores were 15-9; i 15*; 15-4. 1 Delias took a big 13-3 lead ] in game one behind the spikes of Dave Barikian and Shep Taylor and coasted to victory. Breakwater took an early lead in game two with great play by Bob Matthews and Jerry Griffin. Delias came back behind the play of Garry Kocher and never relinquished control of the game. ECKEL'S DIESEL took two of three games over Dekelco. Dekelco took the first game 15-10 and Eckel's came back in the last two, 15-5 and 15-3. Dekelco took a big 13-2 lead in game one behind the hits •of Rick Hawley and George Burgess and coasted to victory. Eckel's came back in the second game behind the digs of Jim Counahan and spikes and bumps by Mike Moore. The highlight of game three was an excellent power spike by Eckel's Marty Holmes as his team dominated the game. J.T. Builders swept their three games against Cape May Mobile Estates. The scores were 15-2; 15-5; 15-10. Hits by J.T.'s Rick Simpson and net coverage by John Thomas made the difference in game one as The Mobile Estates failed to keep their serves in. Mobile Estates took an early lead in the second game behind the bumps of Jeff Van Mourik and serves by Chuck Crossan. J.T.
Builders regained service , and never looked back as John McAleer and Thomas dominated play. Game three saw the well placed dinks of Mark Rucci and the excellent serving of Hassy Thomas and Gary Franco of J.T. Builders They kept the Mobile Estates from victory in a fairly close game. NATIONAL Associates shut out Bowman Builders in their three games. The scores were 15-7; 15-3; 15-5. National Associates jumped out to a big 11-0 lead behind 11 consecutive serves by Don Shiffendecker. The hustling play of Will Mendo provided Bowman Builders with a few points. National Associates won the second game in a romp behind Norm LaBounty's serves and the spikes of Mike McGlaughlin. The Coast Guard Breakers moved into first place with a three-game shutout of Buck's Electric. The scores were 15-8; 15-9; 15-7. The Breakers were led in game one by the spikes of Jesse Danner. The serves of Bill Johnson and Don Fox were also instrumental in the victory. In game two, the Coast Guard jumped out to an 11-3 lead behind the hits of Mark Townsend and Wayne Plunket. Great digs by Ralph Schaffer of Buck's Electric made the game competitive. Standings U.S.C.G. Season Tickets Offered ERMA — For the first time ever it will be possible to purchase a season ticket for all winter sports at Lower Cape May Regional High School, at $20 for adults and $10 for students. This season ticket will admit the owner to 11 home boys basketball games, nine home girls basketball games and eight home wrestling matches. The value of the season ticket for adults is $56 and for students $28. A supporter of one sport who only occassionaUy attends one of the other sports can buy an athletic association ticket which provides admission to any athletic contest for half price. These are $10 for adults and $5 for students. These tickets maybe bought at the front office in the high school or at the gate at the home athletic contests. State Honor To Gallagher SEA ISLE CITY - The only Cape May County player to earn the honor, Bill Gallagher, of 230 40th St., has been named to the Camden Courier Post All Group 3 first team in soccer for his performance this year. - | Gallagher, a senior at Ocean City High School | with four years of varsity j experience, was among > South Jersey's leading ) scorers with 22 goals.

Renza Team Leads High School Nets
COURT HOUSE - High School League action continued Dec. 9 at the Jersey Cape Racquet Club as the afternoon's first match saw the teams of Scott Piro and Mike Renza challenging each other. Piro's team got off to a solid lead in mixed doubles action as Piro and Thea Sanford breezed to an easy 8-1 win. Renza 's team of Anthony Tyne and Gerry D'Antonio quickly fought back to a 9-7 win in men's doubles, topping Dan Lockwood and Dan McElrevy by a close score. Ladies singles action also ended in victory for Renza as Theresa Ward finished ahead of Helen Ann Lloyd 9-8 in a tie breaker. Ladies doubles brought disappointment to the Piro's as they defaulted 8-0 to Renza in that event. UNDAUNTED. Scott Piro entered the courts to face Mike Renza in Men's Singles play and finished on top 8-6 in a close competition. The win wasn'ti quite enough to give Piro's a match victory as Renza 's team finished the afternoon with a 33-31 win. — w
The afternoon's second match between the teams of Jim Bucko and John Young began as the men's doubles team of Anthony Boyd and Gary Robinson gave Bucko's an early lead of M over Chris Carr and Mike Hudgins. Bucko's continued on its winning ways with Missy Whittington and Brendon Connor winning the mixed doubles event, also by a score of 8-4, against Sherry Sheppard and Rob Iannone. Tracey Yarborough gave her team its only victory by scoring 8-4 in ladies singles over Missy Whittington. The afternoon's final event saw the two team captains face each other in the men's singles event. Bucko scored a solid win of 8-1 in that event which also gave his team a match victory for the afternoon's action. The ending score was 28-17.
