Plousis said they received notification of f their termination from Freeholder Gerald M. Thornton. The new sheriff and undersheriffs were sworn into office New Year's Day. Plousis said he had no present plans to fill the administrative assistant's job in the sheriffs department. I have to study the position and the title some more," Plousis said. "I don't know right now just what my decision will be." Parker, besides his experience with the Pennsylvania Justice Department, won four Presidential commendations plus the silver star during seven years in the Marine Corps. # He is a World War II veteran and presently owns a service station in J Bayshore Village run by a son, Plousis said.
