It was all in the spirit of Christinas! The Washington Inn at Washington and Jefferson Streets in Cape May showed so many people that there really is a Santa Claus* The owners, Rona and Toby Craig, personally issued written invitations to residents of the Cape May Housing Project, inviting them to dinner at 3 p.m. for Christmas. So many just couldn't get over the generosity of this i very thoughtful restaurant owner. Besides, the Craigs do have their own family of children to get Christmas dinner for, and after the hectic summer schedule one I would think they would be so tired. And that they were, but Rona and Toby still wanted to be sure many who needed some holiday treat would have it free of charge at their beautiful restaurant. It's been the talk of the town, and rightfully so, too. We salute you, Rona and Toby Craig — you have made so many happy. AGAIN. AT THIS time of year, it's so wonderful to « know that one who has been sick for so long is now better and able to enjoy all the holiday spirit. One such person is Anna Purgatorio, who was hospitalized for so long. But now she's well and wants to thank all who remembered to send cards and good wishes. Welcome home, Anna. Choir at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church was really magnificent this year under the direction of Rev. Robert Pasley. The Christmas program was simply delightful and the Midnight Mass program was most enjoyable. Members are Marge and Jim King, Peg and Jim Donahue, Amelia Conway, Elizabeth Alexander, Margaret Dillon. Margaret Dalin, Rosemary Jones, Irene Monge, Jim Maguire, Kathy O'Neill. Mary Coonan. Marie Momat, and Minette Southard. Just a group of people wanting to do their very best for their chu'rch and community. . Solo by Minette Southard of "0 Holy Night" was breath taking. Minette has sung in opera and her voice is one you could listen to for hours. STILL TOO MANY on the sick list: Alfonso Martorell. Catherine Corbett, Jo Ann Weber, Patrice McNultyJ Fr. Joseph Toal, Valeria. Mariani, John O'Gara, J. Makowetski, Charlie Geitz, Barbara Ragar, Alfonso Falzone, Maria Mayo, Margaret Stull, Frances McTague, Robert Doyle. Charles Gannon, Mary Pine, Ann Ewing, Mary Ann Krug, Sr. Joseph Mercedes, Eugene Walker, Malcom "Spats" McDuell, Caje Hoist, Frieda Lynch, Betty Lou Stokes and Stanley Zaronowski. . She's little Quinn Clowers, barely a year old, but now she's sporting a little bow in her hair. Daddy is with the Coast Guard and she does best when being carried in his arms. Even though she's teething now, Quinn still manages to delight you with her big smile and laughter. It's time for a new year. Let's make it one of good health, happiness of course, but mostly peace on earth everywhere.
