Cape Literature Sought for Shows

COURT HOUSE - Literature is needed for distribution at travel shows being scheduled for 1985 by the Cape May county Public' Affaits Department. Louis Rodia, assistant director of the department, said the county show schedule will include displays in Maryland, Massachusetts. New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia and Canada. The tentative show schedule will include about 20 visits to major - market areas for county tourism. THE COUNTY booth will be in shows with several million potential viewers. Each year, the Department of Public Affairs distributes literature for municipalities and private county businesses as well ,as local trade associations, motel and hotel groups, the Cape May County Campground Association and

Chambers of Commerce. There is no charge for distribution of literature. Supplies of material for show distribution may be dropped off at the Public Affairs Office at the Cape May County Airport, Erma, at the County Chamber of Commerce office on the Garden State Parkway here, the Wildwood Information Center on the Boardwalk at ScheUenger Avenue and at Cape May City Hall. ' r LITERATURE may also be dropped off at the Ocean City Informatidn Center on the causeway at 9th Street, and at municipal halls in Sea Isle City , Stone Harbor and Avalog. Literature taken to the drop points will be collected periodically by the Public Affairs Department for show distribution. The 1985 show schedule opens Friday at Annapolis, Md. Other shows under consideration are in Cincinnati, Ohio; New Castle, Del., Columbus, Ohio, Harris burg, Pa., Pittsburgh, Pa., Suffern, N.Y., Allentown, Pa., Worcester, Ma., Montreal, Que., Parkersburg, W.V., Buffalo, N.Y., Cleveland, OH., Greensburg, Ph., Ocean Ci- | ty, Md., Point Clair, Que., | Deptford and Pennsauken, ! Course on Computers CAPE MAY - The Civic Affairs Department is offering a new Computer Course in its Winter Recreation Schedule. Radio Shack TRS-80 computers will be utilized in this introductory course in the fundamentals of computer operation. Hie course is geared to those individuals with little I or no knowledge of computers. It will be held at the Lower Township Elementary School District.
