WINTER bird migration and nature awareness will be taught the children by Bev Henry, who has been teaching miniecology at the institute for the past two years. A Dennisville resident, she was a pre-kindergarten teacher for 13 years in northern New Jersey and now teaches at Young World Nursery School in Oceanville. Classes will be held 1 to 2:30 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at the Wetlandia Museum in the institute, one mile west of Stone Harbor. Children

Air Control Graduate COURT HOUSE - Navy Airman Robert Gommel, son of Julia Gommel of 868 Stone Harbor Blvd. here, was graduated from the Air Traffic Controller School. During the 14-week "course at the Naval Air Technical Training Center Millington, Tenn., Gommel wafe prepared for duty at an air station control tower. Gommel joined the Navy f in September, 1983. John Wayne Films In Free Showings

COURT HOUSE - The Cape May County Library is hosting a John W^yne film festival in January, with free admission on Friday evenings at 7. - Jan. 18 is scheduled for "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon," set in 1876, just after Custer's death at Little Big Horn. Wayne, in the title role of •f H cavalry officer who's just

six days away from retirement, is ordered to push the Indians further from settlers. The last film in the series, a 1942 remake of the "Spoilers," is set in Alaska during the gold rush. This film center on the quarrel of two adventurers over land rights. It stars Wayne, Marlene Dietrich and Randolph Scott.

Booster Club To See Show

The 'Athletic Booster Chib of Lower Cape May Regional High School is sponsoring a bus trip to see "Cats." The bus will leave the high school / parking lot Saturday, Jan. i 26. at 11 a.m. for the matinee. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. The tickets,
