In addition to the new convenience of drive-up facilities, safe deposit boxes and a night depository Sturdy 's North Cape May office will also offer SV* percent interest-bearing checking accounts, a full line of savings plans, certificates and clubs, mortgages, money market accounts and IRAs. ACCORDING TO Ken Hawk, branch manager, Sturdy will also be offering gifts to those who deposit 8500 or more in high interest rate 12-month, 18-month, 30-month, 36-month or 60month certificates of deposit. Gifts will also be given to those who deposit $2,500
or more in a six-month certificate of deposit or a money market account. "We'll also be giving a year's supply of free checks to customers who open' a checking account at the office during the grand opening celebration," Hawk said. IN ADDITION to Hawk, who will serve as branch manager, the new office will be staffed by: Pat McFeeters, who will continue in her position as assistant manager of the office ; Barbara Reeves, who has been a teller in North Cape May since the first office'opened in 1981 ; and a new face at Sturdy, Beth Gibbs, who will serve customers as a teller.

Rodgers, of the , North Wildwood law firm of Fineberg & Rodgers, is the newly elected president of the Cape May County Bar Association. Rodgers, 37, is a Certified Criminal Trial At- • - torney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. He holds a 1973 law degree from Seton i Hall University and is the 1 author of publications in 1 the field of criminal law. ' Rodgers was formerly first i assistant prosecutor for i I Cape May County and is now this Avalon municipal 1 prosecutor. Rodgers resides, in Seaville with his wife and two children. ACC Offers TV Courses MAYS LANDING — "Personal Finance and Money Management," a new television course being offered by Atlantic Community College (ACC), will explore the basics of budgeting and buying, home ownership, income tax and investments and the wise use of insurance, wills and trusts. The course is one of seven being offered by ACC in the spring semester that can be viewed on television. Students cap watch the course sessions in their home, or view video tapes on ACC's Mays Landing campus or in the Atlantic City, Court House, Hammonton or Ocean City libraries. Other ACC television courses include: Introduc- . tion to Business ; Principles of Management ; The New Literacy— Computers ; America in the 20th Century; General Psychology; Humanities Through the Arts; and Cultural Anthropology. Each course carries three credits. Students can sign up by "mail by Jan. 24 or in person on the Mays Landing campus by Jan. 25. Classes begin the week of Jan. 28. Tower Aids Medic 9 COURT HOUSE - The range of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital's Medic Mobile Intensive Care Unit has been increased by installation of a 198-foot radio tower at the hospital. • The new tower will extend the unit's communication system for easy contact with ambulances and other emergency services. The quality of voice and telemetry contact between paramedics and hospital physicians also will be improved by the new installation. 4 FHA Mails* Statements COURT HOUSE - Farmers Home Administration borrowers are advised that their annual statement of loan account will be mailed by Feb. 1, County Supervisor Robert R. Maxwell stated recently. The finance office will mail these statements directly to the borrowers. It will show all changes and credits made during the 1984 calendar year. The statement will also show interest and principal paid for income tax purposes. Clients are asked not to call the county office about these statements, Maxwell said. They are mailed directly to the borrowers from the finance office in St. Louis and the local office has no control over their arrival. The Farmers Home Administration office for Cape May County is located at 15 So. Main St. The office is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Raising The Roof AVALON - Sturdy Savings and Loan Association's office at 2628 Dune Dr. is undergoing an expansion and modernization program. The roof has been raised to accommodate larger facilities on the second floor. Safe deposit boxes and a night depositor will be new services provided in addii tion to expanded and modernized customer service I areas. The project is expected to be completed in the spring.
