Kona Has Big Lead At Nets CAPE MAY - Kona Realty tightened its hold on / first place with a four-game shutout of Pete's Racquet Club in women's recreation volleyball. The scores were 15-7, 15-12, 17-15, 15-12. Perfect serves by Kona's , Tasha Jordan and Liz Fuller gave thlm a big 11-2 lead in game one. Bumps by Cathie Smith and five consecutive serves by Cathie Smith brought Pete's to within 4 points, but Kona regained control after that. Pete's took an early lead in Game 2 behind excellent serves of Judy Mohler and Judy Ricco but could not hold it. Pete's took an early lead again in Game 3 behind the serves of Donna Mazurek. Kona came back in the game four behind hits by Fuller and Jordan. FN'B-Toms River won its four game against the CView Inn by forfeit. STANDINGS Kona Realty 29-S Pete's Racquet Club 16-JO C-View Inn 10-16 FNB-Toms River Tomcats 17-17 South Jersey Champions 3-27 City SCUBA Course Set CAPE MAY — There are limited openings available for a SCUBA course that is part of the city's Winter Recreational Program. This NAUI course is nationally certified and consists of 32 hours of instruction plus two final dives. Students must be at Jeast 12 years old. Upon completion students will receive a certificate and a card verifying a passing effort in a national certified SCUBA course. The course will be held at the Elementary School 6:30-10:30 p.m. Tuesdays. For additional information, call the Civic Affairs Department at 884-8411, ext. 20 or 27. REC Group Will Meet DENNISVILLE - There will be a meeting of the Dennis Township Recreation Committee 7 : 30 Thursday evening, Jan. 24, at the Dennis Township Municipal Hall here and thereafter every fourth Thursday of the month.
