Gulls to Be Club Topic STONE HARBOR - Dr. Penny Bernstein of Rutgers University will speak in "Gulls" at the Stone Harbor Garden Club meeting 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the borough firehouse. Dr. Bernstein, who earned her Ph.D. in biology at the University of Pennsylvania, spent last summer at the Wetlands Institute here teaching a training program for high school science teachers. From 1980 to 1983 she was a visiting assistant professor of biology on the faculty of Science and Mathematics at Stockton State College. Dr. Bernstein's main research interest is sea gull behavior.

WILDWOOD - The Wildwood Civic Club, a member of the state Federation of Woman's Clubs, is raising money for the Statue of Liberty Fund. Supporters of the move to save the historic landmark

Child Care Fair Focus At Library COURT HOUSE - The need for child care facilities in Cape May County will be the topic of a Pre-School Fair cosponsored by the county library and the American Association of University Women 1:36-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, in the library's meeting room. Many of the county's day care and nursery school facilities and their programs will be represented at the fair. Carol O'Hara from the Vo-Tech Day Care will speak on the differences between preschool facilities, the types of activites to look for and the value of pre-school for youngsters. Both mothers and fathers are invited to attend the program, first in a series centered on parenting.
