Heating Aid Still Offered FOLSOM — Customers of South Jersey Gas Co. who need financial help to heat their homes may still qualify to receive funding through the 1985 Home Energy Assistance program. and are encouraged to contact local county welfare agencies regarding eligibility. The Home Energy Assistance program runs through April 30. 1985 and is available to qualified elderly, handicapped and low income persons. Homeowners and renters are eligible if one of the following criteria applies: heating and, or cooling costs are paid directly to the fuel supplier, a landlord is paid according to energy usage, or a rental fee is paid that includes energy costs TO QUALIFY. a person who lives alone may have a monthly gross income of no more than $519 The income limit for a two-person household is $700. for three persons $881 and $181 for each additional person County welfare agencies are administering the Home Energy Assistance program for the New Jersey Department of Human Resources Applicants must bring personal identification, their social security number verification of household size birth certificates of dependents. verification of income a paycheck', and current gas bill showing account number with utility name, address and phone number Renters who pay heating bills must present a copy of the lease or an affidavit from the landlord PERSONS 60 years of age or over and disabled individuals may receive and return their applications by mail .All others must apply in person at the local county welfare agency South Jersey Gas Company does not determine eligibility for this program For applications and further eligibility information call the local county welfare agencies at: 729-9200 or the Home Energy Assistance Toll Free Hotline 800 257-6249 Flea Mart WILDWOOD - A crafts and flea market.
