PIANIST STEVE HUGHES 'Spiritual Renewal' Set at Tabernacle

ERMA — Tabernacle Methodist Church will sponsor a four-day "Season of Spiritual Renewal" beginning Sunday through Wednesday, March 13. The special services will begin at 11 a m Sunday, and the evening services begin at 7:30 p.m. The Rev Rex Whiteman of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission will be the guest speaker A Bible Conference Speaker, lecturer and program coordinator for Rescue Mission Seminars. Rev Whiteman is superintendent of the rescue mission, a post he has held since 1969 'Renewal' Is Series Topic SEA ISLE CITY - The pastor of the Sea Isle City United Methodist Church. Richard W Nichols, is preaching a Lenten Series based on "Renewal" This Sunday's message is "Renewal through Forgiveness". The Cape May County Shield of Faith Fellowship will present a program at the evening service beginn ing at 7 p m

SPECIAL MUSIC will be provided by Steve Hughes through piano and song. He will hold a special gospel concert 8 p.m Saturday in the sanctuary. Other special events Monday through Wednes day will include a morning Bible Study led by Ray Camden at 10 each morning, and breakfast prepared and served to the Junior and Senior High Youth at 6:45a m Monday evening at 6 p.m. there will be a family covered-dish dinner. Afterwards, a special children's service will be given by Bob and Valerie Newman Everyone is invited to attend each service and share in the "Season of Spiritual Renewal". ERMA — Students from South Jersey Christian Academy walked away with top spelling honors recently by taking the two first places in the fourth annual Invitational Spelling Bee at Green tree Christian Academy in Pleasantville Matthew Erausquin won first place in the Fifth Sixth grade bee, and Jason Ricketts was winner in the Seventh-Eighth grade competition SJCA STUDENTS also took second through fourth places in the Fifth-Sixth category, with Heather Harrison second. Cinnamon Kelly third, and Heather O'Neal fourth Second place in the Seventh-Eighth division was won by Rebecca Peary
