IT'S A BIG WEEK. Good Friday... Passover . Easter Springtime. You can feel the spring, you can smell it, you can see it. You can hear it mornings when bird songs greet the day. Life's resurrection is on the way Earth has taken her rest, now she's on the move again. There's plowing going on This week the countryside will be beautiful becuase of the varied colors of the fields. Birds are building their nests The winter birds are taking off And plant life is unfolding A GOOD THING to do this week is swat every house fly you see. These disease carriers have lived over winter in our houses and will soon begin laying eggs Each fly may produce thousands of young ones unless we swat it before summer comes. Get busy. This is the weekend for Easter egg hunts and Easter parades. Sunday is the day to dress up in your new spring clothes and take a stroll to see and be seen It's a tradition As the Easter Bunny prepares to go hopping, the kiddies are looking forward to Easter baskets and a story or two about Peter Cottontail And of course, spending some time color ing hard boiled eggs. Most kids though seem to prefer coloring hard boiled eggs to eating them Easter is a great time for eating out The local restaruants are ready for you We recommend these fine restaurants for enjoying the new season : SCRENCIS the Screnci family have a way of mak ing congenial people and delicious food go hand, in hand in at their attractive quality restaurant Located at 6208 Landis Avenue. Sea Isle City. Screnci's offers uncommonly good choices served by a dedicated staff. The Sunday Brunch served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m offers an amazing variety of tasty homemade dishes for the low, low price of $4.95. That is one of the best bargains anywhere — and we assure you there aren't any short cuts in spite of the low price. Reservations are suggested - call 263-2217 CANAL 42. While Canal 42 prides itself calls itself a fresh fish restaurant, it doesn't restrict itself to fish meals only. Located at 42nd and Bay. Sea Isle City, it serves dynamite choices breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nothing is frozen at Canal 42 - including the welcome you get. The people who work at Canal 42 seem to love what they're doing - the chef included The chef sends the dishes out from the kitchen only when they're perfect. Therefore, Canal 42 asks customers to be a little pa- ; tient. You'll be glad you've made the trip to Canal 42 and you'll be glad the little wait only makes for delightful dining. DEAUVILLE INN.
