Club Will Hear Plant Expert STONE HARBOR - Dr. Thomas E. Brown, of Atlantic Community College, will speak on "Practical Indoor Gardening" at the April meeting of the Stone Harbor Garden Club. The club meets at 10 a.m. at the firehouse on the second Monday of each month. Dr. Brown received his B.A. in Biochemistry from Antioch College and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from Ohio State University.
CAPE MAY - Promenade your Easter finery in Victorian Cape May on Sunday when the annual Victorian Easter Stroll sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May will be held The categories that the judges will be considering will include: Best Dressed Children two years of age and younger, three-five years of age, six-ten years of age. 11-15 years of age; Best Dressed Female
16-19; Best Dressed Male 16-19; Best Dressed Lady (Modern); Best Dressed Lady (Victorian); Best Dressed Gentleman (Modern), Best Dressed Gentleman (Victorian); Best Dressed Couple (Modern); Best Dressed Couple (Victorian); Best Dressed Family; Best Easter Bonnet; Oldest Lady in Attendance; Oldest Gentleman in Attendance. A SINGLE PRIZE will be awarded in each category with the exception of the Best Dressed Children's category, where first, second and third prizes will be awarded. The prizes have been donated by the hoteliers, restauranteurs and merchants of Cape May, and will include Easter baskets, gift certificates and savings bonds. Registration for participation in the Easter Stroll will take place at noon on the Washington Street Mall between Decatur and Jackson Streets. The Stroll itself will be held on the Washington Street mall beginning at 1 p.m. Participants must be registered before 1 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held indoors at the Cape May Convention Hall. Announcement of any change will be made via the Convention Hall marquee. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the event. Music for the Easter Stroll will be provided by a stroll - ing violinist, Gene Grossweiler Art Gallery At Hospital COURT HOUSE - The public is invited to view paintings, drawings, and photographs available for purchase at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital here. The art display is convenient to both the East Wing and Whiticar Wing Lobbies. Purchases of art benefit the hospital and offers encouragement to local artists. Twenty percent of each sale is earmarked for the enhancement of patient services. Individuals wishing further information may call the hospital's volunteer office at 465-2000, extension 5320. Theatre Trip By Auxiliary COURT HOUSE - The Bayberry Twig Auxiliary of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital will sponsor a bus trip to see the musical "42nd Street" at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia, Wednesday, May 22. The bus will leave Jamesway parking lot here at 9 a.m. and return after the show. The cost of the trip includes an orchestra seat for the matinee. Money must be received by April 15.
