Advocate Program

OCEAN CITY - The Cape May/Atlantic Youth Advocate Program has set up headquarters at 804 Wesley Ave., here. Dawn Jordan, office manager, said that the program is hiring staff to work with troubled youths. 'Ideally, we would like to see Advocates for youths in each of the communities of Cape May and Atlantic counties from which kids are referred," said Jordan. The Advocates would know their community resources, get to know the

youths and their families, and get involved intensively with the youths in activities that would strengthen the youths' ties to their communities" THE YOUTH Advocate Program is a private, nonprofit community-based option currently accepting referrals from the Division of Youth and Family Services of Atlantic and Cape May counties. For further information about the Cape May/Atlantic Youth Advocate Program, call Ms. Jordan at 398-4200.
