Sturm's Scope Is Widened William E. Sturm Jr. of Rio Grande has been appointed community relations manager for New Jersey Bell in Cumberland and Cape May counties. He replaces Bob Davenport, who is retiring. A Cape May County Freeholder, Sturm is one of 18 community relations managers at New Jersey Bell who are responsible for a 22-county area stretching from Bergen County to Cape May County He also is community relations manager for Atlantic County. "OUR MAIN job is to represent the company with the local newspapers and business community, and to talk and work directly with local groups. " Sturm said. "Whether we're talking about service, rates or company participating in a special community project, our aim is to make doing business with the phone company easy and beneficial to our customers " Sturm has 29 years of service with New Jersey Bell in such departments as distribution and network services.
