Church Honors Hodges WHITESBORO - A dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Andre L. Hodges of Court House was held by St. Stephen's A.M.E. Church here April 6. Mr. and Mrs. Hodges organized the St. Stephen's Youth Choir and have served as organist and directress for the past eight years. Guest speaker was Dr. Theodore Johnson, superintendent of Middle Township schools. Albert Hatcher Sr. was chairperson for the dinner. Flowers were presented to the Hodges by Mrs. Josephine Bryan of Court House and a silver commemorative cup- was presented by Mrs. Alice English of Whitesboro. Songs were rendered by Mrs. Lill Mabrey and Mrs. Gwendolyn Meyers, both of Whitesboro. Special remarks were given by Rev. and Mrs. Percy W. Bryan of Whitesboro. Pastor of St. Stephen's is Rev. Donald E. Brown.
First Baptist Pulpit Guest WILDWOOD - Rev Allan Anderson, guest minister, will show slides during the Sunday School Hour and will also preach the sermon during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at the First Baptist Church, Atlantic and Maple Avenues.
