Center for the Arts ( MAC ) is sponsoring: Tulip Garden Trolley Tours take visitors to see the tens of thousands of tulips planted for the annual Tulip Festival. Tours depart from the Rotary Bandstand. Lafayette at Decatur Streets, and run every half hour on the following schedule: Saturday, April 27 — 11 a.m. 3 p.m.; Sunday, April 28 — noon - 4 p.m.; Saturday, May 4 — 10:30 a.m. - noon. TROLLEY TOURS of the National Landmark District begin at Ocean Street, opposite the Washington Street Mall. During the Tulip Festival MAC is offering too distinct Trolley Tours: The Historic East End Tour includes the Physick Estate, two Victorian Hotels — the Chalfonte (the oldest) and the Colonial (the newest), picturesque Columbia Avenue, busy Ocean Street, and treelined Hughes Street, the oldest residential street in the city. The Historic West End Tour includes Congress Hall, the graceful Huntington House, the famous Pink House, quaint Congress Place, unique Perry Street, and the aligned porches of Decatur Street. WALKING TOURS of the National Landmark District run at 10 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays. They begin at the Information Booth at the head of the Washington Street Mall (at Ocean Street). Guides lead visitors on a stroll down many of the historic streets. Spiced with historical insights into the customs and traditions of the Victorians and their ornate architecture, the tours provide an intimate insight into Cape May's past, present, and future. Tours of the Emlen Physick Estate feature the Stick Style mansion, 1048 Washington St.. designed I by the famous Philadelphia architect Frank Furness, and built in 1881. It contains a meticulously restored Victorian House Museum.
