Wildwood to Hold A City Job Fair

WILDWOOD - The city is sponsoring a job fair for its city residents and students from Wildwood Catholic and Wildwood High schools 9 a.m. -4 p.m. I Saturday at Convention Hall. According to Mayor Vic

DiSylvester, who initiated the program and will be acI lively involved "One of my ! personal goals is to help our unemployed community members. This program will bring them together with local businesses who are seeking summer employees. "HERE IN Wildwood. we have capable individuals who should be given first consideration for local employment. Our businesses are working | with us to help make that goal become a reality." The job fair consists of two parts. The morning includes a session to be given by Kevin Yecco, personnel director, assisted by Ed Harshaw, affirmative action officer. IT WILL FOCUS on jobseeking skills such as interview techniques, filling out applications and personal presentation. Also covered are listings of local jobs available and a discussion of work habits. The afternoon allows for participating businesses and Wildwood residents to discuss employment opportunities. The businesses involved include restaurants, hotels/motels, retail stores, night clubs.
