Chiefs Nix 'Stun Guns'

The County Chiefs of Police Association and County Prosecutor John Corino jointly established a uniform county policy outlawing the sale and possession of "stun guns" in a rrecent association meeting. They are also warning merchants that they face

arrest if they sell stun guns in the county. A stun gun can generate 50.000 volts of electricity and incapacitates the victim. The stun gun will be banned until it is adequately tested, receives court approval and the use is permitted under statewide f policy, the association reported last week.
