Pilgrimage For Peace
SEA ISLE CITY - St. Joseph's Church will sponsor a one day pilgrimage to the Blue Army Shrine ol Our Lady of Patinia, Washington, N.J., May 1, to 'Shepherd, Hireling' STONE HARBOR - "The Shepherd and the Hireling" is the title ol Pastor Glenn Schoenberger's sermon for the Fourth Sunday of Easter at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Worship is at 11 a.m. Sunday Church School is at 9:30 a.m. The Adult Forum, studying "Monday's Ministries", also meets at 9:30 a.m. in the parsonage. Thursday's Bible study continues at 1 p.m. with the study of Second Timothy. Jenkins, preaches on "I Am the Good Shepherd's based on John 10:11 Hymns and anthems will underline this theme throughout the worship hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Sunday School meets at 9:15 a.m. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated every first and thrid Sunday. Coffee House WILDWOOD - Pat Peterson will present gospel music at the coffee house of Barnabas House, 436 W. Garfield Ave., 8 p.m. Friday. Barnabas House, in addition to the coffee house every Friday, provides food, shelter and even clothing, as well as Christian counseling, guidance, and sharing of Scripture.
124th Year For Church DIAS CREEK - The Dias Creek United Methodist Church will celebrate its 124th anniversary at special ceremonies 3:2p p.m. Sunday. All are invited to the service of worship and fellowship. A meal will be served following the service.
