;t mer's Puppets and a Little II Bit of Mischief" The children are part of e the Middle r-JTownship y Recreation Department's 1 2- week Chrfdren's Creative Theatre Class. The storyline, music and lyrics have been created by the director of the group, Patricia Choice-Getz. Tickets will be sold at the door and proceeds will go to the county unit, American Cancer Society. IN CONCEIVING the original idea, the children's talents and personalities were considered and a script was created to bring out their best. The production includes two solos and a duet in addition to other musical numbers. Freedom to improvise throughout the production also allows for an element of surprise, including audience interaction. The plot centers on Fritz Klinkenhammer, a loveable but absentminded German puppetmaker. and his seven puppets who are brought to life by the ever-mischievous elf named "Mischief". With magical dust. Mischief plays many tricks on the unsuspecting puppets as they journey through the deep, dark forest. COSTUMES ARE kept farily simple but enough that a character is suggested. Children were told to use their imaginations in creating costumes from articles from around the hoii^e. The first three rows in the Auditorium will be reserved for children and accompanying parents. The public is invited to the presentationof awards and a reception'iollowing the performance j ( ' Stage Struck ' At SJRT SOMERS POINT - Simon Gray's new com-edy-thriller.
