They'll Get Their Kicks In Germany A soccer team made up of 16 Cape May County youths from 14 to 16 will go to Germany in July for a two-week tour during which it will compete with European teams. Among the team contingent are four from the Ava-lon-Stone Harbor area and two from Middle Township. The players are raising money for the $13,000 cost of the trip through candy sales, raffles, sale of T-shirts, and door to door solicitation. The Stone Harbor Lions Club recently continued its support of local soccer by presenting $300 to the Avalon Soccer Club and $250 to the Jersey Cape Shore vSoccer Club.
