'Vials of Life' Offered Sat.

COURT HOUSE - Middle Township Ambulance Corps, Bennet Road and South Main St., will be distributing Vials of Life to all eligible township residents 1 p.m. Saturday. What is a Vial of Life? It is identification for emergency use by rescue squads, should their services ever be needed. Who should have a Vial of Life? All senior citizens, especially those who live alone, and individuals with severe medical problems. What are the contents of a Vial of Life? The Vial of Life will contain important medical information; such as name, age, doctor's name, name of next of kin, medical history and current medications ect. Where is the Vial of Life kept? In your refrigerator, strapped under the upper right shelf. How will resque squad members know residents have a Vial of Life? Along with each Vial they will Halbruner Gets Merit Scholarship ERMA - Mark E. Halbruner, son of Melvin and Janis Halbruner, 580 Seashore Rd., has been awarded a $2,000 National Merit Scholarship. A student at Lower Cape May Regional High School, he is t aiming at a career in political science/law. At school, Mark is president of the local branch of the National Honor Society, and vice president of the Octagon Club. A Distinguished Scholar, Governor's Scholar and Penn State Scholar, he also earned all-Cape Atlantic League honorable mention in football and all-county honorable mention in baseball. His scholarship was sponsored by the SCM Corporation, manufacturer of a variety of products including typewrites, paints ana chemicals, appliances, foods, and copycrs.
