fund 58 promotional activities for a total cost of $!.8 million. THE GRANTS sponsor makes up the difference in funding. NJTRA asked for increased matcflThg grant funding because it is an excellent way to help with local tourist promotions. The NJTRA testimony pointed out that the absence of statewide statistics is a handicap to long-range planning Now individual business or municipalities do their own surveys.
