Cape Fund Seeking Grant Proposals

COURT HOUSE - The board of directors of the Cape Educational Fund has announced its annual Grant Awards Program. According to Carol Bruno, board president, the fund is interested in receiving proposals from teachers for projects that will demonstrate creative and effective ways to meet student needs and increase motivation to learn. At present, the fund is limiting grant proposals to .$500 or under. Unit Installs Officers

Chapter AQ, local chapter of PEO, recently had installation of new officers for the coming year. Installed were Berniece Bright, president; Grace McElroy , vice-president ; Jacqueline Stites, recordiofl secretary; Brenda Sj^rum, corresponding secretary; Vivian Ritterhoff, treasurer, Judy Osborne, chaplain, and Kathryn Burke, guard. Grace McElroy and Karen Seigal will represent the chapter at the New Jersey State PEO convention in Convent Station in May.
